For over 100 years, Moonee Valley Racing Club has been a major part of Australia’s vibrant horse racing industry.

Moonee Valley is home to Australasia’s greatest weight for age championship, the world famous Group 1 Tatts Cox Plate.

The Club is one of the most unique racing tracks around the country and is the host of premium night racing.

The Club is looking towards exciting times, with the Master Plan concept for Moonee Valley Racecourse to redefine the Club into an unsurpassed entertainment venue for all Members to enjoy.

 

A key target of the Master Plan will be an aim to achieve 10,000 Full Members to the Club. These 10,000 ‘Foundation Members’ will receive outstanding benefits as the MVRC undertakes our exciting Master Plan redevelopment.

The 2011/12 Racing Season promises to be bigger than ever with an exciting night racing product beginning with the launch of night racing on Grand Final Eve with the Sportingbet Manikato Stakes (G1) and concluding with the Night Racing Season Finale on Friday 23 March with the William Reid Stakes (G1).

 

Across the season there are a number of exciting race meetings including the $3 million Group 1 Tatts Cox Plate, Saturday 22 October.
