Black Caviar Heads Nominations





Headlining the list of contenders is undefeated World Champion sprinter Black Caviar, one of five entries from the stable of Victoria’s premier trainer Peter Moody.
 
Joining her amongst the entries for the final Victorian Group 1 of the 2010-11 racing season are stablemates Avenue, Hinchinbrook, Master Harry and Panipique.
 
Other key entries include Oakleigh Plate winner Eagle Falls, track specialist True Persuasion and comeback galloper King Pulse.
 
Crystal Lily, a last start runner-up to Black Caviar in the Lexus Newmarket Handicap, is one several horses with dual nominations this weekend.
 
Connections have until 9am on Wednesday to decide whether to take on Black Caviar as she strives to extend her winning streak to 11.
 
Second prize in the William Reid is $90,000 and third is $45,000 with prize money paid down to the eighth placed horse who will receive $10,000.
 
Friday night’s co-feature, the Group 2 $200,000 Sportingbet Sunline Stakes (1600m) for the mares, has attracted 28 entries including former French mare Becqu Adoree who is set to debut for Moody.
